"For anyone interested in a working/show German Shepard Dog in Arkansas (or anywhere else for that matter!) von der Seele Kennels out of Clarksville are the people to talk to!!! Recently I purchased a male red-and-black GSD puppy, and I have never had the priveledge to own a more intelligent, learning-driven, family-friendly dog in my life. After driving for four hous to pick up our new addition to our family, we were greeted by the Hutcherson family and one of the most beautiful German Shepherd Dogs I've ever seen (the dam, "Pink.") On their sprawling country property we were welcomed with friendliness and charm, introduced to the whole family, and familiarized with our "Anton's" dam, older sister, and brothers and sisters from his litter. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and patiently, from diet and training techniques to bloodlines and innoculations. We were given hints on how to continue with the Shutzhund-style training the puppies have received since birth, was given ample opportunity to play with and "train" our new pup, and given a complete list of foods the dogs were tolerant of, full health records, and we received registration papers shortly after purchasing our dog. It was apparant from the start each and every one of these dogs is well loved, and will only be placed in an appropriate home for each animal. As far as once we got our pup home, it took a matter of two days to housebreak him, and he is already spot-on with his sit, lay-down, and heel commands (all given in German, of course!) Even our veterinarian was impressed with his health and similarity to the perfect "breed standard" German Shepherd, and anywhere he goes he is the center of attention. If you are looking for a lifetime companion, guard dog, search-and-rescue aide or showring champion, I couldn't recommend a better breeder- the bloodlines are immaculate, all the dogs are a piicture of health and nurture, and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful, spirited, smart and loveable GSD pup!"
